Bowers House was founded in 1991 and named after Howard Bowers, then general manager of Hyde Park Co-op Markets. Bowers House has 18 bedrooms, an active imagination, and a few smaller creatures. It is located near University & 52nd Street, a quiet corner 10 minutes walk from U of C’s campus, and a 25-minute walk from Promontory Point (our second home in the summer).
