Wells House, founded in 2016, is named after activist, journalist, founding member of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP), and fellow Bronzeville resident, Ida B. Wells.

Situated near the corner of 41st and Michigan Ave, the house offers easy access to both the Indiana stop on the Green Line and several busses.
